Develop new business with existing Retail Distributors and new ones. Contribute to the R&W sales strategy/plan for the Italian market place coverage, with the ultimate goal to primarily develop (NNM&NNR) on an assigned portfolio of distributors & prospects, but also contribute maintain and expand Italian existing Client base, Revenues, AUM, and Market share

  • Developing new business (NNM & NNR) and new distribution agreements with Banks, Private Banks, Promotori Finanziari Networks, Bank branches, online brokers, etc. when relevant, while retaining and maintaining existing assigned AUM & revenues. Meet the y/y defined sales targets.
  • Defining and execute a sales strategy/plan for the assigned distributors networks in close interaction & coordination with the Key Account
  • Sales Manager in charge, Marketing, Client Service team and any other relevant part of the organization required or involved;
  • Building strong internal relationships with all the relevant central functions (Investment teams, Portfolio Managers, Product Specialist, Global Marketing, etc.).
  • Manage to develop the relationship with the Distributor Sales Force, taking care of all the required hierarchy levels across the networks and AXA IM headquarter in autonomy, with ownership and lead;
  • Take care of distributors' sales forces training, roadshows and industry fairs, etc.
  • Ensure Service, Marketing, Comarketing initiatives, Performance, Client Service, Reporting, etc. is delivered in line with distributor expectations

Your Profile Qualifications**- Degree in Economy and Business Administration

  • Postdegree/master in Economics & Finance, CFA
  • English fluent

Experience/Skills

  • Significant (10+ yrs) related specific experience (in the Italian Financial Retail Distribution Market)
  • Ownership, autonomy and ability to operate with local complex banking groups organization,
Knowledge to move within an international complex organization

  • Strong book of contacts & relationships in the Italian Promotori and/or Private Banking market
  • Excellent public speaking and sales track record
  • Strong understanding of local advisory regulatory framework, operations, actors involved and compliance, reporting requirements
  • Strong ability to identify business opportunities, initiate contact and close new business
  • A thorough understanding of world investment markets and associated products across the increasingly broad spectrum of investment strategy available to distributors and clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven success in delivering high quality presentations to a broad audience as well as a range of different interlocutors.
