We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager motivated to join the opening team of the Hyatt Regency Rome Termini. The role will report to the Director of Sales.

Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Termini is a newly renovated contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling accommodation and other services to the assigned market area and specific segment.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for proactive sales calls to generate and manage sales accounts.
  2. Negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential in coordination with the Revenue and Operations team to satisfy client needs.
  3. Evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and hotel profitability.
  4. Maintain an orderly and effective plan of correspondence.
  5. Participate in sales meetings and related industry organizations to represent the hotel.
  6. Have a constant and comprehensive knowledge of market trends and local competition.
  7. Travel as required within the assigned market areas.
  8. Conduct property tours with sales leads and partners as required.
  9. Maintain and update account information on a regular basis as well as reviewing productions accordingly.
  10. Represent the hotel in trade shows, exhibitions and other business-related events within or outside business hours as requested.
  11. Participate in annual budgeting and business planning processes as well as strategies planning to maximize business opportunities.
  12. Participate in training and other development programs.

Skills and requirements:

  1. 4-5 years of experience in the hotel sector with a proven track record in a similar role.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  3. Proven negotiation and sales skills.
  4. Knowledge of the local market and strong network.
  5. Fluent in Italian and English, both spoken and written.
