Castello di Casole, a Belmond property, is seeking a Pool Attendant / Lifeguard for the 2026 season. In this role you will ensure a safe and welcoming pool environment for our guests while delivering personalized service that reflects LQA standards. Responsibilities Welcome and assist guests courteously and efficiently, anticipating their needs and creating a memorable poolside experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, workstations, and pool furniture at all times Monitor pool safety and hygiene standards, taking proactive measures to ensure a safe environment Work closely with colleagues from other departments to provide seamless service and operational support Follow all Belmond policies, procedures, and service standards to deliver consistent, high‑quality guest experiences Requirements Fluent in English and Italian A valid Lifeguard Certification is preferred Effective communication: ability to communicate clearly and appropriately, both verbally and non‑verbally, to positively impact your role, the team, and the guest experience. Uses and interprets non‑verbal behaviors to enhance understanding Emotional intelligence: able to manage and express your emotions while handling interpersonal relationships professionally Collaboration: works effectively within a team, sharing information and skills respectfully, and actively seeks self‑development opportunities Drive results: delivers exceptional, consistent service to both internal and external customers, anticipating and exceeding expectations.
