OverviewWe are looking for a Sales Director in EMENA to join our Fruit & Vegetable teamAs Sales Director you will be in a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving company sales objectives. You will be responsible for creating, and executing effective sales strategies, leading and motivating the sales team, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. Sales Directors play a pivotal role at JBT in aligning sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensuring our teams are efficient and highly effective in their roles. We would like to find someone with a technical sales background who is a strategic thinker and who thrives on using data to drive sales and make effective commercial decisions.

You will work promoting our Primary line machinery, our ProCare aftermarket customer care contracts and our new and exciting OmniBlu™ digital platform, offering a subscription-based contract including best-in-class service, parts availability, and machine optimisation.

You won’t do this alone thought, as you will work hand in hand with our exceptional marketing team and leveraging on the strong engineering/application and product line teams based in Parma. At interview we will look for you to demonstrate the sales processes you have successfully built in your career. We prefer a more consultative style of selling, and our sales teams develop an in-depth understanding of our machinery and customer needs.

With your sales expertise we will look to you to quickly develop and grow our EMENA market together with your team of 5 sales experts. Our Fruit & Vegetable business is extremely successful but there is always room for business growth within new and lease sales.

JBT operates in a highly dynamic and complex way, this role requires skill in leadership, sales, resilience in persona and determination to winWe would like you to be flexible enough to travel for extended periods of time, we estimate travel will be around 60% of the role.ResponsibilitiesWhat will a day in the life of our Sales Director EMENA include … You will drive revenue growth, via the execution of sales strategies to achieve company sales objectivesAs you perform market analysis, you will identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and areas for growthYour role will be to identify potential business opportunities and develop action plans to capture new customers and market segmentsYou’ll lead, motivate, and coach the sales team, ensuring they perform at their best and fostering a collaborative sales cultureSetting clear performance goals for individuals, provide ongoing feedback, and allocating salespeople strategically to significant Product Lines and market segments based on their capabilities and soft skillsYou will be hands on in building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and strategic partnersWhilst you also spend time understanding customer needs, addressing any concerns promptly, and providing exceptional customer service to cultivate long-term loyaltyYou’ll identify and penetrate new segments and territories, assessing potential business opportunities and devising action plans for capturing new customersOn the reporting side we would like you to develop accurate sales forecasts, closely monitor sales performance, and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvementWhilst you collaborate closely with marketing, Product Line Directors (PLDs), and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectivesWe would like your valuable input on product development and marketing strategies based on customer feedbackPlus, your continuous suggestions for improvements to sales processes, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectivenessWe would like you to implement best practices and provide sales training to maximize our team’s performanceQualificationsWhat we would like to see on your resume … At least 8-10 years of experience in Sales Management within an industrial multinational company operating ideally in the food industryA master’s degree in mechanical engineering would be beneficial as you will have the foundational knowledge to understand our complex machinery Excellent knowledge of English, another language will be a plus including Italian and SpanishThat you are used to travelling often; you will travel mainly within EU/Extra EU countriesThat you have been results oriented within your career, where you have been self-motivated and accountable for business growthSuccess as leader with a strong commercial approach and a true understanding of working with data to make excellent decisionsWhat will we offer you …? An attractive package with strong benefits and incentivesThe ability to work in an established international and fast-growing company with great opportunities for personal developmentA work environment where we value individual initiatives (everyone matters at JBT)Continuous development and improvement (always in it together as a team)#LI-SW1Job type: FULL TIMECategories: Sales
