Lead Customer Service Representative

Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite This role maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale. It supports the sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s). The position works with various departments to meet maintenance services sales goals and collaborates with customers and/or distributors to receive accurate accounts of equipment failures, providing reports to management. The focus of work may be in pre-sale, post-sale, or both. Responsibilities: Pre-sale: Respond to customer inquiries to determine appropriate product literature and pricing schedules; influence production and shipping schedules; recommend price changes based on company/customer relationships; recognize new business opportunities. Post-sale: Respond to customer inquiries (RMA, status, delivery, etc.); resolve production scheduling and shipping or invoicing problems; determine validity of warranty claims and schedule repair resources; change production and shipping schedules; recognize add-on business opportunities. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise that typically requires a college degree or equivalent. The job requires a good knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures, and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks, as well as a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based.
