We're looking for candidates with a proven ability to implement initiatives, develop marketing strategy and analysis via insights and market data in the eCommerce space to make a global impact for some of the most recognized brands in the world.
KEY WORKING PARAMETERS The Channel Director is responsible for leading the market implementation of short and long-term initiatives across Europe, by gathering channel and consumer insights for opportunity mapping and developing scalable commercial execution plans.
Lead the transformational thinking for key channels by increasing our brands presence, executional elements, driving traffic to outlets - all with a goal to increase consumer purchase intent and beverage incidence.
Identify commercial opportunities based on key occasions and Category Vision growth drivers by focusing on scalable initiatives that drive portfolio premiumization and beverage incidence - develop plans to capture these opportunities and translate them into execution playbook guidance to enable fast replication across the OU, within key channels and customers.
Partner with cross functional and system counterparts to develop the annual business plans for priority channels and embed in customer plans.
Collaborate with Category teams to ensure key occasion activation plans are consumer and customer focused and enable the execution of the full portfolio within an outlet.
Develop Look of Success guidance with clear execution focus areas to incorporate into the local market PICOS; partnering with country teams to ensure execution consistency across the OU and Bottlers.
Be the Channel expert voice by managing Channel Business Performance through tracking main indicators (e.g.
incidence, market activation), and develop action plans to address areas of further opportunity.
Continuously sharing relevant insights and knowledge across the System (through key forum inc SLA, CCEP Community of Practice CCH Wise) Advance channel commercial capabilities and cross-collaboration with Bottlers, Customer, Category, Country Teams - FLA/ Franchise, to further develop EU wide channel system experts.
KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS Idea to Execution Mindset: Influence the execution of the channel plans through the OU's and Bottlers, fully connecting the strategic idea to in market execution.
Insights to Action: Connect the key channels trends and evolving consumer behaviours and needs with Channel activation plans.
Project Management: Full ownership of key initiatives and project timelines – leading the CCL deliverables and managing multiple initiatives at one time.
Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to fully engage cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders and key Bottler partners – managing various perspectives and gaining alignment.
Internal Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teams to deliver relevant and actionable plans in the market, including Category, Insights, BO, FLA and Platform Services.
System Partnership: Partner with key Bottling stakeholders to influence, align plans, and track performance – approaching this relationship with a one system mindset.
Role will be centered around priority AH - Retail channels and key commercial initiatives.
KEY KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Requirements, Education Requirements:English fluent, University Degree mandatory.
Related Work Experience:Channel / Customer development, category management, commercial strategy, shopper and trade marketing, channel development.
Experience working with CCH and CCEP is desired.
Functional Skills: Proven abilities of Initiative Ownership, Teamwork, Work under Pressure, Adaptability, Influencer, Communication with impact, Leadership and influencing skills.
Proven System knowledge, including deep understanding of the complexities of the System such as bottler economics and system levers, processes and tools.
