If you love it, Scalapay it.THE MISSIONPaola Pacchiana, our Head of Merchant Operations, is looking for a Merchant Success Specialist to join their team and help with the growth of Scalapay in the next 12 months.
This role is based in Milan, where we'll expect to see you often; however, we are open to you working remotely regularly.
We like to think that we're pretty good at offering a job that fits nicely into a fulfilled life for everyone.You will:Be responsible for the documents collection from our merchants for due diligence (60% of the time)Follow up with the merchants for the contracts to be signed (30% of the time)Backoffice time (10% of the time)Expected key results:Accelerate the time to online process in a proper wayImprove the onboarding experienceDecrease the issues merchants can have during the onboarding processWHO WE ARE LOOKING FORMust haveUniversity Degree is required but not in a specific field2/3 years experience as Account Manager or Onboarding SpecialistNative or near-native French (C1-C2 level) is mandatoryNice to haveYou've previously worked in a startup/scaleup environmentSoft skillsData-driven and very organized, you like things to run like a machineYou have excellent communication skills (verbal and written): you are able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideasYou're a self-starter, autonomous proactive: we're looking for someone who will go and get things done, not wait for instructionsHIRING PROCESSA quick chat with one of our Talent Acquisition team membersA first set of interviews with the Hiring Manager to deep dive into your experiences and better understand your motivationA case study to test your hard skills, that will be debriefed with a panel of future internal stakeholders followed by a "Meet the team" session to assess the Scalapay Values and cultural fit with the team (this step will be done face-to-face, at the Milan office)Super Pro tip: we know that application processes can be scary and frustrating but… we look for talent, not people that tick all our boxes.We believe in the power of diversity: Scalapay is an Equal Opportunity Employer for any minority, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation.
