**Job Description** Working in Origination Italy**:
As part of the Southern Europe Origination Department, the Italian Origination team originates and manages a long-term portfolio of third-party contracts in Italy, typically tailor-made Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and long-term sales contracts to large end customers or resellers. Therefore, it cooperates closely with Statkraft’s trading desks and the other regional Origination teams to offer pan-European tailored energy solutions. The business has significantly grown in terms of size and operational complexity.

**As a Sales Originator in the Italian Origination team, you’ll**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with large buyers of electricity such as industrials, corporates, suppliers, serving as a professional key-account and understanding their purchasing needs.
- Identify, develop, negotiate and execute complex structured energy transactions with embedded optionality in the Italian market with a focus on renewable PPAs
- Explore markets and promote new products in collaboration with other desks, channel and distribute information and opportunities
- Originate new - out-of-the box - marketing and trading opportunities with counterparties/clients to enlarge Statkraft’s playing field
- Work closely with colleagues in Milan office, fellow originators, portfolio managers and risk analysts for new deal origination, structuring and pricing
- Manage entire deal approval process with all internal stakeholders

**Qualifications** About you**:
We look for an experienced sales professional with the essential skills to future-proof our business and renewable energy solutions. These include:

- University degree in economics, finance, engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working for energy consultancy, energy procurement or industry associations highly desirable
- Strategic, commercially minded, and analytical
- Self-propelled international minded person with ability to work independently
- The ability to multitask and work with a hands-on approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in Italian and English is required
