**General context of the project***
INTERSOS is a humanitarian organization on the frontline of emergencies, working worldwide to bring independent, impartial, and neutral humanitarian aid to people, families, and communities whose lives are threatened by conflict, extreme poverty, and natural or manmade disasters. According to its operational and resource capacities, it provides assistance and protection during humanitarian emergencies. Our interventions are based on solidarity, justice, human dignity, equal rights and opportunities for all people, and respect for diversity and coexistence.
Promoting quality external and internal communications will support building INTERSOS's acceptance, reputation, and leverage.

**General purpose of the position***
Contributing to implementing INTERSOS’ communications strategy through properly managing the Organization’s brand identity and producing multimedia institutional materials to raise brand awareness and support institutional, internal, and operational communications.

**Main responsibilities and tasks***

**Brand Strategy and Visual Identity**

Ensure the constant update of the Organization’s Brand Identity Strategy and the related documents.
Monitor that the production of visibility materials aligns with the Visual Identity Manual, advising and supporting when needed.
Manage and support the design and production of institutional communication materials (including leaflets, booklets, slides, and audio-visual supports) accordingly to the Organization’s Brand Identity Strategy & the related Documents.
Guarantee the management and constant update of the Communications Material Shared Archive (on Google Drive

**Donors’ compliance and mission communications plans & strategies**
Support and advise INTERSOS’ field missions in producing institutional communications materials
Support and advise INTERSOS’ field missions in producing communications strategies and annual plans
Support and advise INTERSOS’ field in ensuring compliance with the communications and visibility plans shared with donors

**Support to Institutional and External Communications**
Supervise the definition and implementation of the annual calendar of institutional publications, with particular attention to coordinating the Annual Report drafting process.
Support the update of the Organization’s website (including writing news and articles) and guarantees the constant update of the institutional pages (“Who we are,” “What we do,” and “Contacts” sections)
Produce articles, reports, and documents in support of the organization’s communications activities.
Contribute to the definition of the editorial plan and other communications materials (as the magazine SUL CAMPO)

**Support to Internal Communications**
Support Internal Communications accordingly to the Annual Plan and in coordination with the General Directorate.

**Education***
Bachelor / Master's degree in communication or related fields (preferable)

**Professional experience***
Previous experience in the humanitarian sector, preferably in communications or in support of the institutional level
relevant experience in institutional communications and brand strategy (preferable)

**Professional requirements***
Excellent writing skills
Excellent networking skills
Proficient use of the Office Suite Programmes
Website backend management through WordPress (preferable)
SEO management (preferable)

**Languages***
Fluent in English and Italian
French is an asset

**Personal requirements***
