Summary of the role

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for our sales activities in the Northern part of Italy concentrated in the area of Milano. As an Account Manager, you will be the first point of contact for customers and you are strongly collaborating with Engineering and Project Management. Increasing profitable growth, driving market share and developing data-driven strategies for our customers are some of the strategic goals of this position.

Role and Responsibilities
- Manage sales and service activities and contract performance for North Italian Accounts
- Intensive partnership at all levels with key accounts and internal resources to identify customer needs and trends at an early stage to create business opportunities
- Work cross functionally with engineering, manufacturing to help with customer opportunities, resolve issues, planning, etc.
- Support and pro-actively enable sales activities, help to facilitate or open sales opportunities
- Work closely with marketing and communication to support development of sales strategies, tools and tactics to drive sales

Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering (Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- 5+ years of experience within Technical Sales for the engineering industry
- Experience with customer/contract negotiations
- Strong selling skills required to identify and close opportunities
- Strong customer passion and relationship building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Italian and English)

Travel
- Sales responsibility of the Northern part of Italy (until Firenze) with frequent travel to customers on site (clustered in the Milano area)

In qualità di membro del nostro team, sarai responsabile delle nostre attività di vendita nella parte settentrionale dell'Italia, concentrata nell'area di Milano. In qualità di Account Manager, sarai il primo punto di contatto per i clienti e collaborerai fortemente con l'Engineering e il Project Management. Aumentare la crescita proficua, guidare la quota di mercato e sviluppare strategie basate sui dati per i nostri clienti sono alcuni degli obiettivi strategici di questa posizione.

Ruolo e responsabilità
- Gestire le attività di vendita e assistenza e le prestazioni contrattuali per i clienti del Nord Italia.
- Collaborazione intensa a tutti i livelli con i clienti chiave e le risorse interne per identificare tempestivamente le esigenze e le tendenze dei clienti e creare opportunità di business.
- Lavorare in modo trasversale con l'ingegneria e la produzione per aiutare le opportunità dei clienti, risolvere i problemi, pianificare, ecc.
- Sostenere e attivare in modo proattivo le attività di vendita, contribuire a facilitare o aprire opportunità di vendita.
- Lavorare a stretto contatto con il marketing e la comunicazione per supportare lo sviluppo di strategie di vendita, strumenti e tattiche per promuovere le vendite.

Competenze e qualifiche
- Laurea in ingegneria (preferibilmente ingegneria elettrica e/o meccanica)
- 5+ anni di esperienza nelle vendite tecniche per il settore ingegneristico
- Esperienza nelle trattative con i clienti/contratti
- Forti capacità di vendita necessarie per identificare e chiudere le opportunità
- Forte passione per il cliente e capacità di costruire relazioni
- Ottime capacità di comunicazione scritta e verbale (italiano e inglese)

Viaggi
- Responsabilità di vendita della parte settentrionale dell'Italia (fino a Firenze) con frequenti viaggi presso i clienti in loco (raggruppati nell'area di Milano).
