- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary Responsibilities- The Director will be responsible for coordinating with the General Manager, On Location Italy to work with the OCOG to scope and secure lounges, private boxes, and other spaces at competition and ceremonies venues for the delivery of in-venue hospitality experiences, and for working with other internal On Location stakeholders to create a strategy to take those products to market.-
- The Director will be responsible for working with the OCOG ticketing team to secure tickets for the Games, and for working with the OL inventory management team to efficiently track the usage and yield for those tickets.-
- The Director will be responsible, under the joint direction of the VP, Product & Inventory, and General Manager, Italy, for planning, recruiting, and onboarding the team to assist in the tasks described above.-
- The Director must be able to gather information from a variety of sources and synthesise it into easily understandable product information suitable for both savvy and inexperienced purchasers.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of the employee's activities, duties, or responsibilities for this job. QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:_- Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.-
- Minimum five years of experience working in major sporting events internationally and/or within Italy.-
- Experience working in ticketing and/or corporate hospitality.-
- Experience in managing a cross-cultural team of event professionals.-
- Strong skills in managing relationships with partners and vendors.-
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage concurrent priorities.-
- Fluent in English and Italian, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.-
