**Sales Manager Italy - Animal Nutrition**
Location: Carpi ( MO)
**Job Description**:
ADM has an exciting opportunity available for a Sales Manager to join our animal nutrition business in Italy. In a large local market, this is seen as key role not only to maintain, but more importantly to significantly grow our footprint by offering a broad depth of products ranging from Feed Additives & Ingredients to Premix. The role is expected to be based in Carpi ( Mo) and reports to the Commercial Manager in Switzerland.
**The main duties of this role will include**:

- Unlock and maximize the potential of our animal nutrition business in the Italy
- Responsibility for our Animal Nutrition (technical) sales
- Establish and develop long-term customer relationships
- Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities for growth
- Understand our portfolio of products
- Create and fulfill own sales plans and budget on the basis of market plans
- Create and execute 3-5 year Business Plan for the region
- Monthly reporting, sales analytics and insights; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximize sales efficiency
- Stay up-to-date on industry trend analysis, competitive activity and changing consumer behaviors through industry publications, events and insights reports to strategically grow the business
- Support and implement innovative sales and marketing strategies for the region
- Close interaction with other departments: technical support, customer service/logistics, product management, marketing and controlling
- Bachelors & Masters in Science in Agri, Agro Engineering, Veterinarian or Business educational background
- At least 10 years’ experience in the Compound feed, Premix and/or ingredients business
- Business development spirit
- Solid negotiation skills
- Autonomy and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a (virtual) team
- Enthusiasm, initiative, and ability to work under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation skills
- Experience working in a matrix organization (cross-cultural mindset)
- Flexible and willing to travel within the region
- Excellent English language skills
