As Technical Account Manager you will report to the Technical and training solutions Manager. You will be the technical expert of coatings for Special Segments (yachting, composites material and special cars like Lamborghini) and be responsible on the field regarding the training offer for PPG customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with sales team and distributors to develop our business in Special Segments.
- Regularly visit distributors and end users to provide technical service/solutions and product information
- Work with Technical & Marketing team on competitor benchmarking to identify future product or service needs
- Perform front-end and back-end evaluation tests to homologate PPG products based on customer needs.
- Conduct training activities on the field (collision, special segments, CT & LIC) and build the training offer for distributors/end users.
- Be responsible for product prototype field trial execution and collaborate with Marketing & Technical and Sales Team to get objective feedback on new product prototypes.
- Manage claims on the field and ensure the right process is deployed according to the PPG procedures and maximize customer satisfaction (investigation and closure time).

**Qualifications**:

- Chemistry Diploma or Degree
- Experience in Yachting or Composite materials or supercars painting/coatings
- Market and customer oriented
- Good interpersonal and influencing skills for both internal and external audiences.
- Negotiation skills
- Good English
- IT software skills (Color software, Office)
- Availability to travel 50% (Lainate PPG lab + customers’ sites)
