General Role

Reporting to the Retail Director, the Retail performance manager is a key role aimed at analyzing retail and business KPIs to distill insights and propose improvement actions, contributing to the definition of the retail strategy and other projects.

Main responsibilities

**Support business strategy development, distilling insights from retail activities analysis and market trends, supporting business plan preparation.**
- Support the Retail Director in the compilation of regular monthly sales reports, KPI’s reports, presentations, and other information as required.
- Analise the KPIs for the entire Retail community: providing analytical data, conducting merchandising and financial analyses, analyzing sales reports and evaluating retail performance.
- Gather, interpret, and summarize large amounts of relevant business data and analysis of Retail, Product, Stock and Customer data.
- Derive and make strategic insight-based recommendations according to qualitative and quantitative data to improve performance.
- Generate retail reports and data segmentation analysis by performing statistical modeling and data extraction.
- Create presentations and supporting documents to summarize analysis for key business stakeholders and decision makers.
- Monitor store performance of all services and be responsible for KPIs follows up and reports on a regular basis.
- Maximize system functionality and create tracking reports for promotional activities.
- Develops ad hoc reports as required to support the key business initiatives, commercial strategy, and business stakeholders.
- In store visits report (check of key processes, store environment, team, any opportunities, or issues to be solved).
- Facilitate discussions with the managerial team in store on Retail performance and other retail projects and action plans.
- Monitor the execution special projects in store to drive client experience and sales.

**Coordinate and co-prepare the annual strategic plan with retail management and other departments.**
- Perform relevant analysis and presentation to develop strategic plan.
- Support validation process with all the stakeholders involved, in cooperation with Finance department.

**Support incentive scheme development and monitor results achieved.**
- Design new incentive scheme according to retail strategy in coordination with other retail functions (e.g. Operations, Customer Experience, etc).
- Collect relevant inputs from key stakeholders involved.
- Interact with HR department for bonus consolidation and payment.

**Propose initiatives to drive business results.**
- Identify areas of strength and areas for improvement
- Prioritize intervention and impact.
- Propose actions to be taken to improve results, in coordination with other functions involved.
- Lead new projects relative to retail improvements in people, process, or tools areas.

**Build and develop Retail know-how, organizing information and sharing best-practices (e.g. database of retail kips, market report sharing, etc)**
- Support for the implementation of new Business Systems: es. creation of new dashboards, templates, scorecards and effective procedures.

Profile
- Solid professional with at least 5 years’ experience in the retail context or digital / e-commerce environment.
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.
- Fluent Italian and English. French is a plus.
- Exceptional high standards, ideally a knowledge and understanding of the luxury sector.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office tools, BA and ERP systems.
- Very strong analytical mindset combined with very good communication skills.
- Proactive, results-driven individual, demonstrating initiative and commercial creativity and client-centric approach.
- Well organized with an ability to think multi dimensionally.
- Good communication and networking skills, able to build good professional working relationships demonstrating the ability to work across cultures.
- A dynamic autonomous and self-motivated individual, able to be flexible and deal with ambiguity.
