**Let us describe the challenge we offer**

The role of Business Development Manager for Polestar Italy will act as the lead responsible for the Polestar Strategy and Business Development initiatives in the market. This entails key responsibilities such as managing the execution of the Go To Market planning and execution. As the Business Development Manager you will work in close collaboration with the Polestar HQ to secure the future business strategies and operations along with long-term development in the areas of the Polestar business focusing on partnerships and business opportunities connected to new mobility, connectivity and services. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Market of Polestar Italy.

**What you'll do**
**Short-term (1-2 years)**

Manage and Coordinate execution of the Go To Market initiative for Italy together with the market, regional and global teams such as:

- Formulate, organize and monitor inter-dependent projects
- Decide on suitable strategies and objectives for the market
- Manage projects through the full lifecycle and coordinate cross-project activities
- Lead and engage project managers including external stakeholders
- Act as market lead for the Financial Services partner relation and solution implementation
- Together with the Head of Polestar Italy secure partnerships in the retail and network category to establish the Polestar Spaces and the overall Network set-up
- Secure implementation and local integration to global digital landscape
- Business plan and business case development
- Assist in network development (Retail, Operations, Aftersales)
- Assist in the implementation of the Polestar customer relation center
- Leverage relationship and synergies with Volvo Car Corporation
**Long-term (2+ years)**
- Asses Business Development opportunities in Italy catering to market requirements and securing Polestar’s wanted position with target customer segments
- Identify and execute on revenue growth opportunities in new business models and expansion of the existing offers and solutions
- Identify strategic partnerships and coordinate connected services development (assessment, business case, development etc.)
- Management of reporting and KPI dashboard
- Steer market requirements towards Polestar Headquarter
- Provide market analyses for efficient marketing and sales planning
- Continuously revaluate market set up, financial frames, and strategy to ensure efficient growth
**Who you are**
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Program Manager or other managerial or management consulting position
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software is a strong advantage
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus

As a person you have ‘can do’ attitude and solid organizational skills including both attention to detail and multi-tasking. You have working experience in communicating to diverse stakeholder groups leveraging effective approaches for communicating information. Strong multi-disciplinary skills in business and financial analytics, modeling, strategic planning, marketing, marketing research, public speaking, influencing, and negotiation is strongly preferred.

A consulting background is preferred but not required. Recent experience in the Automotive industry and the current shift to electrification, servitization, customer-centricity, and digitalization of the value chain is seen as a strong merit.
