About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to join our team at Sonder. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations across our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Provide personalized service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our remote service teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination across properties.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively address guest issues and concerns, using your problem-solving skills to find solutions and exceed guest expectations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records, processing payments, and handling guest requests.
  • Property Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of both guest-facing and back-of-house working spaces, contributing to a welcoming and efficient environment for both guests and team members.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in hospitality operations, customer service, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Language: Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Italian essential.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
