Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our commercial efforts in Italy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing commercial strategies, and building strong relationships with our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive sales growth and increase market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to understand their needs and preferences
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in leadership positions, ideally in off and on trade channels, with profound knowledge of the Italian market and trade
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering sales growth in a highly competitive environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sales organizations and build talent pipelines
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with distributors, accounts, and customers
  • Prior experience in wine and spirits or luxury FMCG industries
