Role Overview: As a Software Systems Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for the software validation and commissioning of advanced folding machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute software validation and commissioning processes for advanced folding machinery.
  • Prepare for testing by compiling necessary checklists, verifying software with the Technical Office, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Conduct machinery testing in accordance with specified technical requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to address daily technical challenges related to processes, machinery, or tools.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of accurate documentation related to testing activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance on customer installations to guarantee reliable equipment performance.
  • Provide training to customer personnel on equipment management and maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during the testing phase, working closely with internal teams and customers.
  • Engage with customers during the testing phase and equipment start-up at their locations.
  • Deliver technical support and assistance, either remotely or on-site.
  • Adhere to quality standards and established safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Technical diploma or degree in Electronics, Automation, or Information Technology.
  • Prior experience in a similar position is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Controls Engineering, PLC, and HMI programming.
  • Experience with Siemens S7, Tia Portal, Simotion, and Rockwell Allen Bradley is highly regarded.
  • Proficient in the configuration and management of electrical and fluidic systems.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Customer-focused and results-oriented mindset.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a proactive work approach.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
