Join Our Team as an Area Sales Manager

Starhotels is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our Headquarter Team in Florence. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for our properties in Tuscany, Umbria, and Marche.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the hotels' customer portfolio, identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of the local area to proactively identify, handle, and develop local sales relationships, ensuring a strong presence in the market.
  • Assist the business in leading all day-to-day sales activities, focusing on building long-term and value-based customer relationships to meet set expectations.
  • Support the Event Departments by identifying and securing possible sales opportunities, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper after-sales follow-up with customers to obtain supportive feedback on service and product delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support our properties in all sales activities and projects, collaborating with the Head Office sales team and other hotels' sales teams.
Requirements:
  • A unique personality and a true passion for hospitality, with a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
  • An exceptional ability to inspire people with our concept, with strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven work experience in the role (at least 3 years), with a strong knowledge of the assigned area and a proactive mind-set.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions, and versatility in handling various work scenarios.
  • Fluency in Italian and English, with additional languages a plus.
