Job Title: Area Sales Manager

As a seasoned Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in your assigned territory. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on Emerson's software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in industrial automation
  • Strong knowledge of HMI, Supervisory Control, and/or Plant Analytic software
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of automation systems and technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Native proficiency in Italian and good command of English language
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Previous experience as an Application Engineer or Solution Architect
  • Sales experience in adjacent industries, such as mechatronics, robotics, or information and operations technology
