Job Opportunity

Cielo Talent is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by understanding customer needs, providing innovative solutions, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Customer Engagement
    • Develop and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers, offering expert technical support and solutions.
    • Ensure timely resolution of all customer complaints within a seven-day timeframe.
  • Product Expertise
    • Deliver product demonstrations and training sessions, highlighting the benefits and applications of ductile iron pipes and fittings.
    • Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and influence product improvements.
  • Business Development
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities, preparing technical presentations and proposals to potential customers.
    • Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain
    • Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Industry Representation
    • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and events to network and stay updated on market trends.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related fields preferred).
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the ductile iron pipes and fittings industry or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong technical knowledge of ductile iron pipes and fittings and their applications is an advantage.
    • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Travel
    • Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
