About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Carrier. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our sales teams in growing sales through technical consulting in an assigned geographic area or to specific accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice to customers and help develop proposals based on customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide sales support.
  • Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Support quotes and bids, and handle post-sale project management duties.
  • Develop relationships with consultants in the area to create prescriptions/specifications with our products.
  • Develop necessary materials, offers/quotes, and be the main contact for pre-sales requests, information, and support.
  • Run technical training for agents and consultants in the area and participate in technical events involving customers.

Requirements

  • Ability to make complex concepts simple during execution.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Stakeholder management and ability to work across levels and geographies.
  • Teamwork-oriented.
  • Engineering degree.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Additional skills preferred but not required:
  • Theoretical knowledge of revenue.
  • CAD.
