Global Media Relations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Media Relations Manager to join our Global Communications Team at Angelini Pharma.
Purpose
The Global Media Relations Manager will be responsible for maintaining the excellent name and reputation of Angelini Pharma at global and European level. This will be achieved by disseminating accurate information at corporate and business level, and minimizing the impact of negative or untruthful news related to the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Relations
- Develop and disseminate written materials, including press releases, Q&A, and media statements, to key media contacts at global and European level.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts in the pharma sector.
- Identify opportunities to proactively pitch brand and corporate stories through media outlets.
- Crisis Communication
- Develop and implement a crisis management plan, including media relations strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of crisis management plans, focusing on media relations.
- Manage relationships with key media contacts to drive accurate information during crisis situations.
- Scientific Communication
- Develop and disseminate written materials, including press releases, Q&A, and factsheets, related to news products, business partnerships, and new indications.
- Identify opportunities to proactively pitch brand stories through media outlets and social media.
- Executive Communication
- Provide and support the diffusion of global guidelines on relationships with media.
- Organize media training and ad hoc briefings.
- Support the writing of opinion editorial, articles, and interviews.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in global media relations.
- High level of knowledge of pharma media at European level.
- 8-10 years of proven experience in crisis management.
- Native English.
- Attitude to teamwork.
