About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our team at Armani Hotel Milano. As an Account Director - International Markets specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing key feeder markets for our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase client base in key segments, primarily in the UK and European markets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute account plans for assigned market territories to ensure maximum revenue and budgeted targets are achieved.
  • Qualify group business to generate rooms and catering revenue, impacting RevPar performance.
  • Work closely with the DOSM to create a corporate rate strategy for local accounts and RFPs for volume accounts.
  • Track and focus on conversion to ensure hotel revenue objectives are impacted and achieved.
  • Understand and maximize the utilization of automated sales and reservations systems (Opera) involved with group business.
  • Participate in sales & revenue meetings and strategy meetings as required.
  • Respond and maintain effective correspondence with all potential and existing clients.
  • Produce and execute quarterly and annual action plans.
  • Participate and contribute to the annual Marketing Plan, including proposing and managing territory sales expenses and travel budgets.
Requirements
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in Europe.
  • Applicants are required to have at least three to five years in a Sales Manager role or Sales Cluster experience.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Creative and innovative approach to sales activities.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English (and Italian preferred).
  • Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Opera.
