Job Title: Investment Advisory Platform Expert

About the Role:

As an Investment Advisory Platform Expert at ING, you will play a key role in the development and management of our investment advisory service. You will work closely with our agile team to design, implement, and promote our investment advisory solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in complex projects related to the development of investment advisory services, involving multiple stakeholders and cross-departmental activities.
  • Define business requirements and functional solutions to improve digital processes and customer journey strategies.
  • Follow the end-to-end implementation process of business initiatives.
  • Produce regular investment monitoring reports for both business and regulatory purposes.
  • Collaborate with the investment advisory team to manage ongoing activities and resolve issues that may arise.
  • Support sales channels and provide training sessions on enhancing investment advisory services and product distribution.
  • Monitor business performance and launch early warning signals for negative trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with the evolution of the investment advisory market, including distribution models, regulation, and technological advancements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance or Economics or related fields.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in managing and implementing projects related to investment advisory services and products.
  • Knowledge of discretionary portfolio management and/or private markets/alternative funds is a plus.

Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience in similar roles (+3 years).
  • Strong knowledge of investment advisory models and current regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and competitors.
  • Experience in managing/leading complex projects.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills.
  • Customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to produce clear presentations and documents.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a natural propensity for training people.
