Investment Advisory Solutions Specialist

Your Role:

As an Investment Advisory Solutions Specialist, you will engage within ING's agile framework, taking charge of the development, comprehensive management, and promotion of the investment advisory services utilized by ING Italy.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in intricate projects, including cross-border initiatives, concerning the enhancement of investment advisory services that involve multiple stakeholders and interdepartmental collaboration;
  • Articulate business requirements and functional solutions aimed at refining digital processes that enhance the customer journey;
  • Oversee the complete implementation cycle of business initiatives;
  • Generate periodic investment monitoring reports for both business and regulatory purposes;
  • Collaborate with the investment advisory team to address ongoing activities and any emerging issues;
  • Assist sales channels and conduct training sessions focused on optimizing investment advisory services and product distribution;
  • Assess the business performance of the product/service across distribution channels and issue early warning signals in response to adverse trends;
  • Stay abreast of developments in the investment advisory market regarding distribution models, regulations, and technological advancements to ensure a competitive and compliant value proposition.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines;
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
  • Experience in managing and executing projects related to investment advisory services and products (such as mutual funds and insurance-based investment products);
  • Familiarity with discretionary portfolio management and/or private markets/alternative funds is advantageous;

Experience and Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in similar roles (minimum of 3 years);
  • In-depth knowledge of investment advisory models, including the current regulatory landscape;
  • Understanding of financial markets, investment products, and competitive dynamics;
  • Proven experience in managing and leading complex projects;
  • Strong team collaboration skills;
  • Excellent planning and organizational capabilities;
  • Customer-centric approach;
  • Ability to create clear presentations and documentation;
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural inclination for training others.
