The Role
We are seeking an experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our Grocery Partnerships team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for onboarding new grocery retailers to our platform, working closely with our commercial team to drive business growth. Your primary objective will be to identify and secure partnerships with top-tier grocery retailers, ensuring seamless integration and successful launch of their services on our platform.
Your Responsibilities
- Pitch and close grocery partnerships with relevant players in the territory using proactive approaches and various communication channels.
- Manage your own pipeline, leading the sales cycle from initial contact to successful partnership launch.
- Negotiate strategic agreements that align with business objectives and ensure smooth integration processes.
- Support cross-functional projects and initiatives, such as field pitch days and marketing roll-outs.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
7-10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in related fields like groceries, retail, or FMCG.A proven track record of sales success and a self-driven approach to scaling your portfolio.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively.Perseverance and grit, with a willingness to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.Competitiveness and a team-oriented mindset, with a passion for data-driven decision making.Salary Estimate
We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience and performance. This estimate is based on national averages and market conditions in Italy.
