Job Title: Global Retail Training Development Manager

At Ermenegildo Zegna, we're seeking a highly skilled Global Retail Training Development Manager to join our team in Milan. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.

About the Role

The Global Retail Training Development Manager will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering high-quality training content across multiple formats. This includes defining learning objectives, developing content, and monitoring effectiveness. Proven instructional design competencies, curriculum development, and facilitation skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of training content developers to design and develop training modules and programs for delivery across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Support retail teams in developing selling and clienteling skills, ensuring consistency across markets and co-designing training for all touchpoints of the Zegna Guest Experience.
  • Proactively identify sales training needs, analyze outcomes, and monitor the impact of every sale-related training program using a data-informed approach.
  • Collaborate with the Zegna Global Training Community to drive a community of global in-store training specialists, ensuring effective cascading and follow-up of training initiatives.
  • Work with a strong project management mindset to meet deadlines, costs, and validation phases across project creation, involving the right stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME).
  • Scout and deal with suppliers for specific projects, considering budget and training delivery methodology.
  • Contribute to training events organization and animation.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience within a retail environment.
  • Proven retail knowledge and training development knowledge.
  • Previous managerial experience.
  • Energetic personality with strong engagement skills.
  • Retail selling experience and retail business needs knowledge.
  • Mastery of principles of adult learning, teaching, and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
  • Guest-centric mindset.
  • Proven knowledge of Adult Learning Training Methodologies and measurement of training effectiveness.
  • Proven experience in Instructional Design and Training assets development (including Rise, LMS,...).
  • Video Editing/Photoshop skills are a plus.
  • Project management skills.
  • Communication, training, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work in partnership.
  • Agility and flexibility in priorities management.
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with cultural sensitivity necessary for addressing diverse audiences and work environments.
  • Knowledge of English mandatory. Any additional language is a plus.
  • Availability for business travels based on specific projects.
