About the Position:

The Technology Management Director will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful design and implementation of complex projects, including signalling and E&M turnkeys within the Asia region. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong interpersonal communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams, including setting project goals, defining timelines and budgets, and allocating resources.
- Liaison and interaction with central engineering function departments, including technical troubleshooting, engineering budgeting, and managing resource coordination and prioritization.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, requiring excellent organization and prioritization skills.
- Monitoring and reporting project progress, keeping stakeholders informed about progress, milestones achieved, and potential challenges.
- Managing project technical risks and contingencies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks, and having contingency plans in place for unforeseen circumstances.

Requirements:

- Deep understanding of railway systems, including various subsystems such as train control, signalling, communications, power supply, and track infrastructure.
- Staying up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, ensuring that designs comply with the latest changes.
- Ability to interpret complex technical specifications and translate them into practical design solutions, communicating between engineers and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting technical problems and providing solutions, ensuring project progress continues.
- Contributing to business development efforts, identifying new project opportunities and securing funding.
- Staying abreast of new technologies and innovations in the railway industry, continuously seeking ways to improve design and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 10-15 years of experience in a similar business market.
- Education qualifications preferred: any Engineering Bachelor or Masters degree.
