Position Overview
The Clinical Specialist in Electrophysiology will deliver expert clinical product support and technical training to healthcare professionals, laboratory personnel, and sales teams regarding the effective and safe application of Boston Scientific's Electrophysiology product line (including Farapulse, PolarX, Rhythmia, etc.). The designated area of responsibility will encompass the Lombardia region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clinical assistance in case coverage, basic troubleshooting, and system and software enhancements.
  • Provide education to clients and internal Boston Scientific staff on the advantages and proper clinical application of Boston Scientific devices through various presentation formats (e.g., slides, manuals) to ensure everyone is informed about the latest product and technology advancements.
  • Participate in clinical cases within hospital laboratories to support the application and development of Boston Scientific devices and their components.
  • Deliver initial and ongoing training and feedback to development teams and sales representatives regarding Boston Scientific's product development processes, features, and related procedures.
  • Engage with current and prospective clients (e.g., physicians, hospital office groups) by traveling to assess their clinical needs and objectives related to patient care, demonstrating how our products can assist in achieving their goals.
  • Establish relationships with hospital staff (e.g., through informal discussions, meetings, and conferences) to create new connections within hospitals and identify key decision-makers to facilitate future sales opportunities.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding products and services by devising innovative and practical solutions or collaborating with relevant personnel (e.g., sales, clinical research, marketing) to develop optimal responses.
  • This role will primarily focus on the Lombardia region, with occasional support required in adjacent areas.
  • This position is field-based and will necessitate travel (approximately 80%) across the designated regions.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Cardiovascular Perfusion, or a related field.
  • Residing in Lombardia.
  • Familiarity with electrophysiology and/or cardiology is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and convey complex technical and clinical information.
  • Proficient in both Italian and English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Capable of quickly adapting to a dynamic market environment.
  • Strong team player with collaborative skills, capable of building relationships and working across functions.
  • Self-driven and able to influence others effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable while remaining focused and determined.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required by workload.
