About the Role

This is a critical position within Amazon EU SARL (Italy Branch) that requires a seasoned professional to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive supply chain strategy for our EU Fashion business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a supply chain roadmap that aligns with Amazon's procurement systems and enhances collaboration with strategic fashion vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and programs managers, to drive operational process improvements and maximize product availability and executional excellence.
  • Lead and influence internal stakeholders and vendors in an ambiguous environment, while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.
  • Analyze production and delivery lead-times, and operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations, and fulfillment, to identify and deliver improvement opportunities.
  • Optimize end-to-end supply chain integration to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, and/or project management.
  • Experience working with computer databases and complex data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead process improvement using techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, plan, and delegate tasks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience building and managing partnerships with vendors and/or external customers up to an executive level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in languages including German, Spanish, Italian, or French.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or Supply Chain.
  • Consulting background in supply chain, inventory management, or partner management.
  • Familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques.
  • Excellent business judgment and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
