Senior Manager for NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting
Milan, Italy
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Senior Manager in the Supply Chain Consulting division at NTT DATA, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our operations in Italy. The Supply Chain Consulting team is focused on delivering value to clients by enhancing their supply chain processes through improved planning, network optimization, and operational efficiency.
Our Italian practice boasts a successful team of supply chain experts. In your capacity as Senior Manager, you will be tasked with driving further growth. We believe that this growth is achieved through close collaboration with colleagues across the NTT DATA network, partnerships with our planning technology allies, and direct engagement with potential clients.
In this position, you will report directly to the Managing Director overseeing operations in Italy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Discover new business prospects by collaborating with: (1) colleagues from various divisions within NTT DATA, (2) our planning technology partners, and (3) direct outreach to potential and existing clients.
• Present compelling Supply Chain solutions to clients.
• Develop proposals and drive ongoing revenue enhancement.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and strategic partners.
• Elevate the visibility of Supply Chain Consulting within the European market, particularly in Italy.
• Take charge of recruitment efforts in alignment with business growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent from a prestigious institution in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• A minimum of 12+ years of experience in the supply chain sector, ideally with a background in utilizing quantitative tools and methodologies for supply chain decision-making (consulting experience is a significant advantage).
• A proven track record in business development within the supply chain domain.
• The ability to comprehend client needs, tailor supply chain solutions, and present persuasive offerings to prospects.
• Strong networking capabilities within large organizations, such as NTT DATA Italy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in both Italian and English.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Experience with planning tools from o9 Solutions, Toolsgroup, and/or BlueYonder is preferred.
