Senior Supply Chain Manager at NTT DATA

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Senior Supply Chain Manager within NTT DATA's consulting division, you will play a crucial role in expanding our operations in Italy. The Supply Chain Consulting team is focused on delivering value to clients by enhancing their supply chain processes through improved planning, network optimization, and operational efficiency.
Our Italian practice consists of a highly skilled team of supply chain experts. In this leadership role, you will be tasked with driving growth initiatives. We believe that success stems from close collaboration with colleagues across the NTT DATA network, partnerships with our technology allies, and direct engagement with clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Discover new business avenues by collaborating with: (1) colleagues from various sectors within NTT DATA, (2) our planning technology partners, and (3) direct outreach to prospects and existing clients.
• Present compelling supply chain solutions to potential clients.
• Develop proposals and drive ongoing revenue growth.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and strategic partners.
• Enhance the visibility of Supply Chain Consulting within the European market, particularly in Italy.
• Oversee recruitment efforts aligned with business growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent from a prestigious institution in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• A minimum of 12+ years of experience in the supply chain sector, ideally with a background in consulting and proficiency in quantitative analysis tools.
• A proven track record in business development within the supply chain domain.
• The ability to comprehend client needs, customize supply chain solutions, and deliver persuasive presentations.
• Strong networking capabilities within large organizations, such as NTT DATA Italy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in both Italian and English.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Experience with planning tools from o9 Solutions, Toolsgroup, and/or BlueYonder is advantageous.
