Senior Manager for NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Senior Manager in the Supply Chain Consulting division at NTT DATA, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our operations in Italy. The Supply Chain Consulting team is focused on delivering value to clients by enhancing supply chain efficiency through improved planning, network optimization, and operational excellence.
Our Italian practice boasts a successful team of supply chain experts. In your capacity as Senior Manager, you will be tasked with driving further growth. We believe that this growth will stem from close collaboration with colleagues across the NTT DATA network, partnerships with our planning technology collaborators, and direct engagement with clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Discover new business prospects by collaborating with: (1) colleagues from various sectors within NTT DATA, (2) our planning technology partners, and (3) direct outreach to potential and existing clients.
• Present compelling Supply Chain solutions
• Develop proposals and spearhead ongoing revenue enhancement
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and strategic partners
• Elevate the visibility of Supply Chain Consulting within the European landscape, particularly in Italy
• Manage recruitment efforts in alignment with business growth
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent from a prestigious institution in engineering, operations research, supply chain management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• A minimum of 12+ years of experience in the supply chain sector, ideally with a background in utilizing quantitative tools and methodologies for supply chain decision-making (experience in consulting is a significant advantage).
• A proven track record in business development within the supply chain domain.
• The ability to comprehend client needs, customize supply chain solutions, and deliver persuasive presentations to prospects.
• Strong networking capabilities within large organizations, such as NTT DATA Italy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in both Italian and English languages.
TOOLS
Experience with planning tools from o9 Solutions, Toolsgroup, and/or BlueYonder is preferred.
