Job Summary
Tevapharm is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining customer and market strategies, managing commercial business, and scouting the market for new customers to achieve expected sales performance.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth and expansion in the pharmaceutical industry. You will work closely with our Business Analyst to map the market and identify new growth opportunities, build relationships and business with new clients, and increase win rates with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define customer and market strategies to achieve expected sales performance
- Manage commercial business and scout the market for new customers
- Work closely with the Business Analyst to map the market and identify new growth opportunities
- Build relationships and business with new clients in assigned regions
- Increase win rates with existing customers
- Routine follow-up on sticky receivables to maximize cash flow
- Close follow-up with procurement teams to build a healthy order book and manage pipeline seedings
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in B2B Pharma API sales in Europe, with experience in the US market an advantage
- Undergrad/Master of Science in Chemistry or related technical background; MBA preferable
- Strong negotiation skills and analytical thinking
- Strong relationship management skills and leadership skills
- Executive presence with proven ability to influence others
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization
- Strong strategic agility and business acumen
