RINA is actively seeking a Business Development Manager for Testing Services in Italy to enhance its operations within the Italy Certification Commercial Division.

Objective

The primary objective of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to stimulate growth and broaden business prospects for RINA's laboratories. This role entails enhancing the service pipeline and securing contracts for a designated portfolio of services across Italy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and Optimize Order Intake:
- Oversee the sales pipeline to ensure a consistent influx of orders.
- Analyze and monitor key performance metrics related to order intake.
2. Expand Pipeline with New Clients:
- Identify and integrate new potential clients into the sales pipeline.
- Conduct thorough research to pinpoint prospects and evaluate their compatibility with the organization's services.
3. Lead Negotiations on Contracts and Proposals:
- Actively engage in negotiating and securing significant contracts.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders and proposals.
4. Successful Contract Closure and Insights:
- Spearhead efforts to finalize contracts effectively.
- Document lessons learned from completed contracts to enhance future operations.
5. Identify Cross-Selling Opportunities:
- Collaborate with various departments to uncover cross-selling possibilities.
- Formulate strategies to leverage collaborative opportunities across the RINA Group.
6. Monitor Competitor Activities:
- Keep track of competitor movements and provide insights on industry trends.
- Utilize competitor data to refine and enhance the organization's strategies.
7. Drive Sales and Business Development Activities:
- Concentrate on generating new sales and business opportunities.
- Conduct client visits and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
8. Explore Partnerships and Alliances:
- Identify and pursue opportunities for strategic alliances and partnerships.
- Work with external entities to penetrate new markets and broaden business outreach.
9. Foster Customer Engagement and Satisfaction:
- Interact with current and potential clients to grasp their needs and expectations.
- Emphasize customer satisfaction, repeat business, and the development of new markets.
10. Stay Informed on Offerings and Technological Solutions:
- Remain knowledgeable about the organization's current and future offerings.
- Effectively communicate technological solutions to clients.
