RINA is seeking a Business Development Manager for Testing Services in Italy to be part of its dynamic team within the Italy Certification Commercial Division.

Role Overview

The primary role of the Business Development Manager (BDM) is to enhance growth and broaden business prospects for RINA laboratories. This position is accountable for expanding the service portfolio and securing contracts within the designated geographical area of Italy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and Analyze Order Intake:
- Oversee the sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of orders.
- Evaluate and monitor key performance metrics related to order intake.
2. Prospect Development:
- Identify and incorporate new potential clients into the sales pipeline.
- Conduct thorough research to pinpoint prospects and evaluate their compatibility with the organization’s services.
3. Contract Negotiation and Support:
- Actively engage in negotiating and securing significant contracts.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders and quotations.
4. Contract Finalization and Insights:
- Lead efforts to successfully finalize contracts.
- Document lessons learned from completed contracts to enhance future processes.
5. Cross-Selling and Collaborative Opportunities:
- Work with various departments to identify cross-selling prospects.
- Formulate strategies to capitalize on mutual opportunities across the RINA Group.
6. Competitor Analysis and Market Intelligence:
- Keep track of competitor activities and provide insights on industry trends.
- Utilize competitor data to refine and enhance the organization’s strategies.
7. Sales and Business Development Strategies:
- Concentrate on generating new sales and business opportunities.
- Conduct client meetings and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
8. Strategic Alliances and Partnerships:
- Explore and identify opportunities for strategic alliances and partnerships.
- Collaborate with external entities to penetrate new markets and broaden business reach.
9. Customer Engagement and Satisfaction Focus:
- Interact with current and potential clients to comprehend their needs and expectations.
- Emphasize customer satisfaction, repeat business, and the exploration of new markets.
10. Awareness of Offerings and Technological Solutions:
- Stay informed about the organization’s current and future service offerings.
