Job Title: North Italy Welding Lead

RINA is seeking a highly skilled North Italy Welding Lead to join its team in Milan, Italy. As a key member of the Italy Certification Operations Division, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and conducting the certification process of Pressure Equipment/manufacturer, metal welders, and welding procedures, according to American or European codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and conduct inspections as Authorized Inspector for RINA Services (ASME Inspection Agency)
  • Organize and conduct inspection and certification activity related to Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2024/68/EU)
  • Organize and conduct welding qualification sessions at client's premises with reference to EN ISO, ASME, and AWS standards
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in technical/scientific field
  • +5 years of specific experience in welding coordination and pressure equipment inspection
  • Experience in managing certification as ASME AIA or ASME Certificate Holder
  • Have a valid ASME commission card, to be transferred to RINA Services AIA, will be a preferential title
  • Welding Engineer/Technologist or equivalent qualification, will be a preferential title
  • Knowledge of EN/ISO/ASME/AWS reference standards
  • Knowledge of the main non-destructive testing methods
  • Knowledge of English & Italian languages
