About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Account Strategist to join our team at Philips. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and driving credible and productive long-term relationships with customers in the area, by understanding their business needs and providing tailored value propositions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve relations with a limited number of key accounts to keep or set Philips as the preferred supplier.
  • Initialize and coordinate all Philips efforts to the accounts to maximize the output of the sales group.
  • Create optimal offers to the accounts, together with the marketing, services, and supply chain teams.
  • Develop an account plan for each account for 2 years, translating budgeted targets into specific strategies and actions per account as part of the operational plan of the sales group.
  • Create and implement action programs for and with the accounts to improve the performance of Philips.
  • Drive the performance of the functions in the accounts to achieve results.
  • Analyze and report sales results, expectations, market, competition, and trends to make proposals for improvement.

Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a sales or account management role within the Healthcare or Medical Devices industry, preferably with capital equipment.
  • Ability to independently manage local accounts, coordinate necessary actions, and ensure timely achievement of results.
  • Solid expertise in relevant marketing and sales strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and process management.
  • Basic financial understanding.
  • Capable of conducting independent negotiations with customers, aligning with established guidelines and sales plans.
  • Experience delivering presentations at an account management level.
  • Frequent interaction with customers and/or cross-functional teams, including collaboration with other company divisions or units.
  • Fluency in English and Italian (local language required).
