About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Italy. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving market success in Unified Endpoint Management for the Italy region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with account managers to identify and drive projects towards successful closing.
  • Develop a strong partnership with Territory Managers to provide a comprehensive and compelling message to executive and technology leaders across all industries within the region.
  • Lead interactive PreSales discovery meetings, analysing customers' current technology and architecture, operational and business needs.
  • Develop a tailor-made presentation to communicate the Ivanti value proposition to commercial prospects.
  • Prepare and attend customer meetings, tailoring communication to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process.
  • Scope and analyse customer requirements, being able to quickly understand the customer's needs in areas such as Unified Endpoint Management, User Workspace Management, Endpoint Security Management, and Identity and Access Management.
  • Deliver effective product demonstrations to customers and prospects, if necessary tailored for their individual requirements.
  • Prepare, conduct, and summarise technical Proof-of-Concept (PoC) or pilot installations of our solutions.
  • Assist in preparing and answering RFIs/RFPs.
  • Prepare and assist at public events like trade shows, partner events, roadshows, user-group meetings, including the ability to act as a speaker in front of a larger audience.
  • Be a technical representative of our software solutions, able to communicate complex IT dependencies in simplifying, clear words.
  • Involve other specialists wherever necessary to successfully drive pre-sales projects, including Support Engineers or Development as well as a later project-handover to Professional Services/channel partners.
  • Liaise with Product Managers and Development to understand details of vision, roadmap, and product design and communicate information back to customers and the sales organisation.
  • Provide feedback from the market to Product Management and Development regarding products, including coordinating gaps between product functionality and market/customer demands.
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and understand differentiators between Ivanti and its competitors.
Requirements
  • Experience in implementing complex IT solutions like UEM/Security within (Enterprise) customer scenarios.
  • Experience in a presale role within a sales environment for a software vendor or a similar organisation.
  • ITIL V3 certified.
  • Practical experience working in customer environments.
  • Fluent Italian language.
  • Business fluent English language.
  • Extensive experience of creating and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences.
  • Ability to create written documents in Italian and English language to assist potential customers in preparing or summarising activities within pre-sales projects.
  • Team player with the ability to act as the focal point in identifying gaps and pulling in any other necessary resources to own and successfully drive pre-sales projects.
  • Experience of working with: Networks, Operating Systems, Databases, Email, and Systems integration.
