Job Summary
The Technical Sales Manager will oversee all activities in the technical office and pilot line. This role coordinates Sales, Design, and Pilot line teams while maintaining relationships with key customers, ensuring products meet their needs, negotiating contracts, and implementing technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the team of mechanical designers and pilot line engineers.
- Support in reviewing the budget and financial plans.
- Coordinate the development plan for contract projects for embossing rolls.
- Interface with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new embossing rolls.
- Propose creative and competitive product development solutions to the Development team.
- Study and develop new methodologies to improve embossing rolls.
- Oversee projects from bidding to order intake, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Scout for new customers and business opportunities.
- Conduct negotiations with customers and suppliers.
- Analyze the market and competition to stay ahead.
- Organize and participate in company trade fairs, industry events, and trade shows.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design.
- Proven experience as a Technical Manager in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Italian.
- Able to balance budgets and financial plans.
- Available to travel as required.
- Able to lead a team and motivate employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Goal-oriented and customer-focused.
