Job Summary

Burberry is seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production processes to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Planning: Define and prioritize the allocation of products to manufacturers, managing external production capacity to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Supply Chain Management: Liaise with Procurement on a daily basis to ensure the feasibility of the production plan by monitoring raw material stock levels and proposing trade-offs where necessary due to limited raw material resources.
  • Leather Goods Production: Ensure adequate planning and monitoring of leather goods production, proposing trade-offs where necessary due to limited raw material resources.
  • Stealth Activities: Manage Stealth activities related to work and sales order creation and manufacturer management.
  • Order Management: Receive weekly orders from Sourcing and provide planning feedback, ensuring timely receipt of orders and managing re-timing.
  • Vendor Management: Monitor production plan and finished goods deliveries through daily interaction with vendors and production control team.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure data accuracy is maintained, preparing different analyses and reports on department and vendor performance, timing of deliveries and adherence to lead times, causes of delays and production capacity forecasts.
  • Technical Support: Liaise with Product Engineering for BOMs and technical information, managing and uploading price lists.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment, with specific experience in supplier management and planning activities.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, high level of proficiency in MS Office applications - Excel essential, experience of using spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting, knowledge of SAP, Sedapta, Stealth 3K, SQL, Power BI, Access a plus.
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent verbal/written communication and time management skills, proven leadership with excellent communication skills, open-minded approach to work combined with a strong problem-solving orientation.
