About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leading sports brand as a finance intern and student. The company is looking for talented individuals to support their financial analysis and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in financial analysis and reporting, including preparing reports on business plans, budgets, performance, and forecasts.
  • Develop tools and dashboards to improve processes and insights availability.
  • Support in creating internal and external financial reporting and statements.
  • Provide insights for business partners and senior management to enable fact-based decision-making.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and derive recommended action steps for stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement communication packages to present results, recommendations, and solutions.
  • Assist in monthly and quarterly financial closures and preparation of financial statements.
  • Perform financial analysis of balance sheet.
  • Support in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting of company results.
  • Support execution of selected projects with strategic, transformation, or digitalization projects within your team area and/or cross-functionally.
Requirements
  • Student of Business Administration, Economics, or Finance with a focus on Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong MS Office skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, MicroStrategy, and Power BI is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp tasks quickly.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus.
