Position Summary:

In the role of Finance Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the daily accounting functions of our Italian subsidiary. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the US GAAP accounting team based in the United States and providing assistance to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as required. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional eager to contribute to our organization's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Ensure precise and timely financial reporting in accordance with both Italian statutory regulations and US GAAP.
  • Coordinate with the US GAAP accounting team to reconcile intercompany transactions and facilitate the consolidation process.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Support the FP&A team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with a particular emphasis on cash outflow projections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a multinational environment.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, ideally within a multinational corporation.
  • Strong understanding of Italian statutory accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, showcasing adaptability and flexibility.
