National Sales Coordinator Job Summary:
As a key member of the Hartsville Chamber team, the National Sales Coordinator will provide critical sales support to the national sales representatives and contribute to national team activities. This role may also involve serving as a liaison for national account activities between the Hartsville Chamber and external outdoor advertising groups.

  • Exercise independent judgment to resolve significant matters within the national sales team, while offering sales and administrative assistance.

The National Sales Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for all national RFPs, coordinating activities associated with these RFPs and interacting with local markets to assist in the processing of RFP responses.

Respond to phone and email requests from advertising agencies, other media buying groups, and members of the national sales team, while maintaining market and company standards and sales practices.

Enter data for each RFP, track the request status, and follow up in a timely and consistent manner.

While adhering to market and company standards and sales practices, work to meet the expectations of agencies and the needs of clients.

Respond to all other agency requests, such as competitive spending, material status, past campaign reports, etc.

The role may coordinate national ad buys with other outdoor advertising groups, but the National Sales Coordinator position is focused solely on driving growth within the Hartsville Chamber.

As such, National Sales Coordinators should not have an active role in the development of proposals, including rate information for both the Hartsville Chamber and any other outdoor advertising group, due to possible antitrust issues.

Work on RFPs should address only the Hartsville Chamber's inventory and rate structure.
Attend weekly national sales conference calls.
Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with two to four years of general office experience. Knowledge of advertising functions and terms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent typing and computer skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent customer service skills.
