Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and administering safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety and environmental policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental hazards.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to plant staff on safety and environmental procedures.
  • Coordinate plant safety teams and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Investigate and analyze safety and environmental incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to plant safety teams.
  • Interact with regulatory agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, safety, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a safety or environmental support role in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • 1+ years of HSE experience in a warehouse, production, or industrial environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office Suite applications.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. in Engineering, Health, Sciences, Occupational Safety, Environmental, or other related field.
  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies and standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, RCRA, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001, OSHA VPP, ISO45001).
