Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As an EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, as well as protecting the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Training and Communication
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety and environmental procedures.
- Communicate safety and environmental information to employees through various channels, including meetings and training sessions.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting
- Investigate all incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit incident reports to management and regulatory agencies.
- Emergency Response and Preparedness
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure a safe and effective response to incidents.
- Conduct regular drills and training exercises to ensure employees are prepared for emergencies.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety and environmental data, including incident reports and training records.
- Develop and implement procedures for documenting and tracking safety and environmental metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science or occupational safety.
- At least 5 years of experience in a safety or environmental role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
