Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Product Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a member of our Quality and Product Assurance group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software components across a range of embedded and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement a robust Quality Management System to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics to measure software performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage software configuration and ensure the availability and traceability of software products.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of a non-conformance control system and support the documentation and follow-up of anomaly reports and non-conformance reports.
- Ensure the maintenance and control of Qualification Status Lists, Status of PA reviews, Audits Status Reports, List of Deviations and Waiver requests, Non-conformances (minor and major) List, Critical items List.
- Develop and maintain RAMS models and review of RAMS analysis to ensure the dependability, reliability, and availability of the programme.
- Scout and adopt the latest state-of-the-art tools and processes within the software discipline.
- At least five years of professional experience in the space field.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with and analyze large data sets.
- Experience with automated testing tools, test processes, and test-driven development.
- Knowledge of typical software development methodology and release versioning processes.
- Knowledge of applicable standards on software development and validation (such as ECSS or DO-178).
- Familiarity with the Git versioning system or any similar DVCS.
- Capability of working in autonomy.
- Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Knowledge of embedded application software, real-time operating systems, and electronics is considered a plus.
Bachelor or higher engineering degree, in any relevant area such as electronic engineering, computer science, or automation.
Language:Full professional proficiency of English language is mandatory, any other language is a plus, Italian is an asset.
