About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled Luxury Hospitality Expert to join our Front Office team at Splendido Mare, a charming guesthouse in the heart of Portofino. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and have a strong background in hospitality management.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet guests and ensure a warm and welcoming check-in and check-out experience
- Room guests and provide personalized service
- Answer inquiries and provide information about the hotel and local area
- Organize special requests and communicate with all departments to ensure exceptional guest service
- Implement the Leading Quality Assurance Standards
- Support and train front office staff
- Supervise workload during shifts and maintain working relationships with all departments
- Allocate guest rooms according to reservation requests and guest needs
- Verify accurate room status information and communicate properly
- Resolve guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the front office team
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily
- Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules
- Operate all aspects of Front Office computer systems
- Maintain organized and comprehensive filing systems
- Perform Duty Manager duties and other duties as requested by management
- At least 5 years of previous professional experience in hospitality management
- Fluent in English and Italian
- A third language is required
- Knowledge of Hotel Management software and Microsoft Office package
- Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Drive results and provide genuine and consistent high levels of service
- Global perspective and respect for diversity
- Seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L.
- Settore Turismo - Level 2, Reception Manager
- Salary as per CCNL, with increases based on seniority and skill level
- Separate payslip for 13°, 14°, and TFR
- Monthly welfare incentive based on quality goals and welcome bonus
- Accommodation in our staff house, including breakfast and staff cantine
