About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Strategist to join our team at Canonical. As a pioneer in the tech industry, we are looking for an individual who can help us drive our hiring process forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent in the tech industry.
  • Work closely with our senior leadership team to educate them on the art of headhunting and provide training on how to identify and engage with passive talent.
  • Conduct in-depth behavioral interviews using competency-based and psychometric assessments to identify the best candidates for our senior leadership positions.
  • Drive data-driven insights to inform our hiring decisions and ensure that our processes are efficient and effective.
  • Build key relationships with global stakeholders to ensure we deliver against our hiring agenda and drive results.
  • Review and streamline our hiring processes and tools to drive continuous improvement.
  • Bring a passion for diversity and inclusion to ensure that our hiring process is free from unconscious bias.
Requirements
  • Professional experience of headhunting future talent on LinkedIn, with an informed opinion of strategies and experience of successfully sourcing senior talent in the tech industry.
  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders, creating learning programs to develop their ability to successfully identify and engage with passive talent.
  • Exposure or appreciation of psychometric assessments.
  • Experience of conducting behavioral, competency-based interviews with the ability to train stakeholders and advise on how to get the best out of an interview.
  • An exceptional academic background including a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Psychology-based subject.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving ability to identify trends and patterns from data.
  • A high level of personal organization to work remotely and be effective.
  • Willingness to travel to company events 2-4 times a year, for up to two weeks each.
